Waffles with nuts and/or dried fruit

500 g flour
300 g sugar
400 g butter
6 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 packages of vanilla sugar
1/2 package of vanilla pudding powder
pinch of salt


1. Put the flour in a bowl
2. add baking powder, vanilla powder, sugars and salt
3. melt the butter and add to bowl
4. beat in eggs one by one and mix well
5. beat until you get a nice dough
6. let the dough rest for a couple of hours (best is overnight)
7. fold in your choice of nuts and dried fruits (you can also add lemon/orange zest and grated lemon, orange peel)
9. bake in hot waffle maker!

You can keep these waffles up to 2 weeks!
